Biography: Senior Academic Staff Development Officer (SFHEA, FSEDA)Rebecca Dearden leads the programme of workshops on teaching for postgraduate research students, research staff and other part-time teachers. She is also a member of the course teams for the University of Leeds Teaching Award 1 (ULTA 1), the University of Leeds Teaching and Research Award (ULTRA), the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice and the University of Leeds Teaching Award 2 (ULTA 2). Rebecca joined the University in August 2007 as an experienced HE teacher, staff developer, and trainer in academic, vocational and professional legal education in the private sector. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), a Fellow of the Staff and Educational Development Association (FSEDA) and has a MA in Lifelong Learning from the University of Leeds. Rebecca is particularly involved in development of staff new to teaching and the promotion and support of University wide e-learning and e-teaching initiatives.
